On November 9th, the Concept Store Adima was inaugurated in via San Maurilio 19 in a stunning location surrounded by Palazzo Greppi and immersed in the arts and crafts zone of Milan.
Alessandra Benetatos‘ idea gave birth to a pure silk embracing foulard collection composed of items which can be up to 2 meters long. Exclusively made in Italy, the unique Made in Presence pieces are a tribute to nature and water.
Every image that characterizes each foulard, with its different shades and colors, represents the image of a state of mind frozen in time. Unique fragments of life experienced personally by Alessandra in relation to water, rivers, currents and the sea reproduced on silk.
“I chose to represent water on silk in large dimensions to give the sensation of being wrapped in a fluid embrace”, Benetatos said. “Every foulard carries with a symbolic story, which comes from the place it was theoretically ‘born’. The images permit the perception of approaching these elements and being in contact with them.”
Level Office Landscape has designed the showroom and the office space through passionate teamwork which also involved the two Architects Massimo Gianquitto and Lanfranco Lezzeni, with the support of lighting expert Gloria Galbusera. The interior custom-made project is composed of exhibit racks, framed mirrors, coffee tables, cabinets and various white leather seating options. The sales corner has been made with white Corian and lacquered MDF and includes a glass exhibit counter. At the entrance, the wall cladding is composed of various illuminated compartments which accentuate the items. Further than, the cladding becomes a Smart Wall with a 55 inch monitor that can also be used as an interactive whiteboard.
For the work space, Level provided all the furniture and accessories: Iron Basic desk with white lacquered supports, congo melamine top and Cross Storage lockers with an integrated mini-bar. Finally, “Palmania” series Wallpepper wallpaper and Tatami flooring with coffee bean finishing has been chosen for the restrooms.
